The red line traced the path of events I could not control: friendships dissolving, people changing abruptly, the quiet endings that occur without ceremony. I began to see the raindrops not as weather, but as small incidents, each one falling with its own weight and indifference. The painting became a study in the peculiar truth that even when we believe we are moving forward, much of life is a repetition — a going and returning, um vai e volta.
